PollyKlaascommunityTheater-front

The Polly Klaas Community Theater is a 100 seat theater which is perfect for intimate audience sizes. It is the ideal facility for performing artists, poetry and book readings, civic engagement, lectures and educational presentations.

Thank you to our community for making this renovation possible!   Play this video to watch the construction progression and learn more about the project.

By providing a venue for vibrant, inclusive and diverse programming, we build a better understanding of each other through personal expression and the arts.

Dorian Bartley stuns, as the doRiaN MODE.

The PKF Annual Fundraiser & Gala was a smash success! It was so enlivening to have the theater packed with friends and supporters, dancing to The doRiaN MODE, enjoying food from Debonair Events, and quaffing Petaluma Gap wines and signature cocktails courtesy of Griffo Distillery. The Theater was singing with joy and community. Thank you to all who attended, and if you weren't able to make it, please join us soon for an event! Community safety is a group project, and we couldn't do it without our sponsors. Thank you to the Rip City Riders for making us a beneficiary again this year during their 20th Annual Chilly Billy Fun Run. RCR has been a longtime supporter of our Social Media Safety Education program, and we are so grateful for the continued partnership! #pollyklaasfoundation #sonomacounty #communitysafety #ripcityriders

Last week we presented our Social Media Safety workshop for teens, a free community resource for families about how to stay safe in both virtual and in-person settings. This past school year we presented this workshop to over 2,500 local students in Sonoma County, and will be offering it quarterly here at the theater as well. A huge thanks to the Petaluma Police Department for coming out and presenting with us, to Jersey Mike's Subs Petaluma for sponsoring dinner for all the attendees, and to the Rip City Riders California for sponsoring the program. If you’re interested in having us come to your child’s school and put on this invaluable workshop, get in touch with our SMSE Director Lyn Romstad at lyn@pollyklaas.org. It’s free, and full of all the information your kids need to navigate the internet safely!
